Leadership for Urban Primary Care Education and Transformation (LUCENT) is a program at the University of Chicago sponsored by Health Resources & Services Administration. The goal of this program is to prepare physicians to be leaders in primary care within urban settings.
The LUCENT program consists of three distinct opportunities.
- Fellowship– full-time, one-year program
- Faculty scholar– part-time, one-year program
- Resident scholar– two-year program during residency with expanded ambulatory training
All scholars- regardless of their track- will participate in monthly seminars and lead clinical practice innovation projects.
