Leadership for Urban Primary Care Education and Transformation (LUCENT) is a program at the University of Chicago sponsored by Health Resources and Services Administration. The goal of this program is to prepare physicians to be leaders in primary care within urban settings.
The LUCENT program consists of three distinct opportunities.
- Fellowship– full-time, one-year program
- Faculty scholar– part-time, one-year program
- Resident scholar– two-year program during residency with expanded ambulatory training
All scholars- regardless of their track- will participate in biweekly symposiums and lead clinical practice innovation projects.
