The LUCENT fellow completes a one-year, full-time program.
LUCENT fellows will:
- See patients in a continuity setting and precept students and residents in primary care approximately 4 half days per week
- Conduct mentored projects in quality improvement, practice management, and/or population health
- Receive further education and training in primary care transformation and leadership through a biweekly LUCENT symposium
- Will be encouraged and supported after graduation to enter primary care positions and leadership roles within the expanding University of Chicago care network for Chicago’s South Side and south suburbs, a medically underserved region, or similar settings
